Founding Principals

Jagan Reddy, Founder

Jagan is a recognized thought leader with 20+ years of strategy, technology innovation and business transformation experience and has led several global supply chain initiatives working with market leading brands, retailers and 3PLs.

With broad experience in large operating roles across business development, customer management and product management areas, he applies take-charge leadership skills to drive high-level strategy in fast-moving environments by creating cross-organizational alignment and commitment to the strategy.

Most recently, Jagan led logistics product strategy for Blue Yonder and has had market and solution strategy advisory engagements for a digital freight ecosystem startup as well as a mid-size supply chain vendor.

Previously, Jagan held a range of senior roles including Senior Vice President, General Manager at supply chain solutions leaders RedPrairie & JDA with responsibility for a large business unit delivering best-of-breed supply chain, workforce, and all-channel retail solutions.

Matt Butler, Founder

Matt is a visionary business strategist with 20+ years of experience conceptualizing and implementing complex supply chain programs that emphasize principles of operational excellence with agility and empowerment in large enterprises.

A combination of roles focused on business process, implementation, change management, account management, and software go to market strategy, Matt brings broad perspective to align stakeholders on vision, strategy, and tactics that deliver alignment and establish collaborative ecosystems focused on long term value.

Prior to co-founding the Advisory, Butler was responsible for global Solution Strategy for Supply Chain Execution for JDA/Blue Yonder, which included go to market strategy, sales strategy, analyst relations, & competitive analysis.

Prior to joining JDA, Matt spent eight years with PwC Consulting / IBM GBS, focused on supply chain strategy and technology projects.  He holds degrees in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Duke with a concentration in Health Sector Management.

Subject Matter Experts

Jay Nearnberg

Jay Nearnberg is a Visionary, Analytical, High Integrity, Supply Chain Consultant, Change Management Leader, Department Head, Advanced Analytics Thought Leader, Transformation Projects Lead, and Project Manager. He is passionate about helping businesses improve and transform their Supply Chain Performance, delivering bottom line savings as well as enabling revenue growth.

Jay has worked with companies, leading projects in the CPG, Consumer Healthcare, High Tech Electronics, Retail and Pharma industries in a variety of departmental leadership positions, project leadership, strategy development, business process reengineering, organizational readiness and technical solution  leadership roles. 

He has over 40 years of extensive global industry experience  in Global Demand/Supply Planning, Analytics, Sales and Operations Planning, Sales and Operations Execution, and Supply Chain Systems  implementations. Jay also has extensive experience managing remote/virtual staff, leading virtual meetings and webinars.

Jay has an MBA from Hofstra University and a BS in Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Duane Kotsen

Duane is a leader with 30+ years of strategy, technology innovation and business transformation and has a broad set of experience working for both large and mid-sized technology companies.  He is proficient in a wide range of technologies across the ERP, HCM, CRM and Supply Chain business functions and has extensive international experience.

He has led large teams and managed their associated P&L ($400MM) with success and has led global teams of over 2,000 individuals.  He has integrated Customer Success, Professional Services, Ed Services, Support and Managed Services functions into a cohesive model yielding a high degree of customer intimacy and the associated economic benefits. 

Previously, Duane held a range of senior roles leading global customer success, professional services and support teams at companies like Blue Yonder, Deltek and QAD.  Earlier in his career Duane ran global operations teams at PeopleSoft and Oracle and was responsible for the globalization of the services business at both companies. 

Duane holds a BS in Computer and Information Science from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. 

William Thomas

William has the vision to reimagine organizations and the experience to transform them.  His 20+ years of Global 2000 experience spans sales & customer strategy, operating model design, and digital consulting as well as business leadership. Working with corporate intrepreneurs, his KPI for the success of the operating model is the differentiated experience it delivers. 

William is a sales executive, program manager, agile team leader, and thought leadership producer. William mobilized the launch of the Apple+IBM alliance to industrial clients. In this role he provided design-led, digital transformation to “lighthouse" clients while building a $190M business in less than two years.  

William has led cross-functional teams to identify market opportunity, develop strategies, and realize their value for large front office transformations. His work has a has facilitated decision-making for executive teams steering consumer electronics, foundries, industrial automation, and wholesale distribution businesses.

A certified design thinking practitioner and award-winning people manager, William is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Mississippi.
