    Sales and operations leadership interviews are matched with SCT led workshops to challenge assumptions about distribution channels and needs, delivering a shared vision for requirements that will be addressed either in the immediate future, or that should be considered as a roadmap possibility.   

  • Facility Conceptualization & Budgeting 

    SCT will apply order profile and slotting logic to conceptualize the usage of automation and order selection strategies.  Core order processing requirements will consider pallet, case, and unit picking processes alongside item velocities to determine optimal storage and selection solutions, marrying those to state of the art automation concepts.  Systems, peripherals, security, vehicles, equipment, and professional services will round out a high level estimate for budgetary purposes.   

  • Solution Architecture Design   

    While some clients have high volume centralized DCs and warrant turnkey solutions that require a single vendor selection, others have broader physical networks, existing assets, and a desire to remain agile in vendor relationships.  SCT provides services to design an agile systems architecture, or lay out the requirements to be referenced for WMS/WES/WCS connectivity.

    Working tightly with Procurement, SCT lends the expertise of critical success factors for vendor selections across warehousing systems, automation providers, and equipment needs.  SCT helps to document the requirements and specifications, and evaluate proposals from the vendors to ensure that selected providers are up to the challenge of delivering a best in class solution for your facility of the future.   

  • Facility Design & Build Oversight 

    Once the appropriate real estate is selected, SCT provides detailed designs, program planning, and program oversight to ensure that lead times are understood and planned for, equipment and systems are delivered and installed on time and with necessary levels of quality, and that associate are trained and product is received in adequate quantities to meet the demand as customer fulfillment is ramped up.
